WHAT WENT ON IN SEPTEMBER 2026 NEWS
2026-10-01 08:00:09
Spring has officially arrived, and September was another absolute whirlwind of activity at Mostly Kids! Our talent—from our adorable bubs to our dynamic kids, tweens, and teens—have been turning heads in casting rooms, call-backs, and on location across Australia.
As production ramps up for the warmer months ahead, here is a quick look at what’s been happening behind the scenes this past month:
High-Energy Castings & On-Set Action
  • Major Feature Film & TV Projects: Callbacks and chemistry reads have been rolling in thick and fast! Following an intense round of national casting over the winter, several of our talent have been hitting key milestones and stepping into final shortlist rounds for upcoming feature films and major screen productions.
  • Spring Commercial Campaigns: From summer & Christmas retail shoots and lifestyle campaigns to national TV commercials, our kids have been hard at work on set wrapping up exciting visual campaigns that will be hitting screens and billboards over the coming months.
  • Back in HQ: We are fully back from our recent location work! Thank you to everyone for your patience while our team was on set with limited phone access. Our phones and emails are fully open and back to regular office hours.
Spring Profile Check-In: Time for a Quick Update!
With the change of season comes rapid growth spurts! To keep your child front and center for upcoming spring and summer casting briefs, please take five minutes to log into your portal:
  1. Update Height & Clothing Sizes: Even a couple of centimetres or a new shoe size can make all the difference when casting directors check fittings.
  2. Refresh Spring/Summer Photos: Standard natural-light snapshots showing your child’s current hair length, broad smiles, and present look are essential.
  3. Verify Contact Details: Ensure your phone numbers and email addresses are up to date so you never miss an urgent short-notice casting call.
Congratulations to All Our Talent!
A huge shout-out to every single child and supportive parent who prepped self-tapes, attended in-person auditions, and represented Mostly Kids on set this September. Your professionalism and energy make all the hard work behind the scenes so rewarding!
