1. How do I apply for my child/children to join Mostly Kids?

You firstly need to supply us with your child’s name, date of birth and address. We will then post out or email to you all the information relevant to your child’s age group and State you live in.

National Web site registrations (0-17 years who live outside SA)
Baby Registrations (0-4 years) SA only
Preps (4-6 years) SA only
Under 12’s (7-10 years) SA only
Seniors (11-17 years) SA only

Children living outside SA

Can apply for a 12-month position on our Web site.

This will give them the opportunity to be represented for 12 months in their respective state for various jobs in the modelling and acting industry, in their state.

Children living in SA

Children from newborn to 4 years can simply register as a Baby Registration. Children over 4 years old need to complete either a drama or modelling course with our Academy to be added to our casting files. Upon completing a course your child will be placed on our files till they turn 17 years.

2. Do you accept, onto your books, every child who applies?

Because our clients choice varies so much from job to job we do not restrict entry onto our files. Every child has the opportunity to be selected, from the very cute to the character face.

3. How can I tell if I am joining a good and reputable Agency?

Find out the history about the people running the agency and talk to other people in the industry who can give you information about the agency.

Find out how long they have been established.

Ask them to provide you with their client list.

Do they provide clients with a Headsheet or a Website that is upgraded yearly?

4. Can you tell me how many jobs I can expect in a year?

This is an impossible question to answer, as each model's work rate is reliant on many different factors. Some models "hit it off" quicker than others and seem to secure every job for which they have auditioned. Others take a little longer to warm up and yet once they do there is sometimes nothing stopping them. A great deal depends on which look and what age  group the client requires for the job. But always remember some of the biggest "stars" are just normal kids having fun and enjoying themselves. Although every effort is made to obtain work for our models it can not be guaranteed.

5. Who will take the photographs?

For inclusion on our files we insist that the standard of photography be exceptionally high. For SA children we have professional photographers who we engage on a regular basis. They will be able to supply us with exactly what we require.

This service is available to all SA children who register as "Baby Registrations", or who undertake a course.

Children living in other states (outside of South Australia), may submit 2 very clear 5x7-inch colour head and shoulder shots on a plain back ground for selection. (Please ensure that no hats or sunglasses are worn covering the hair or eyes). Always check your lighting. We will contact you if we feel the image is not right. You will soon be able to upload your photographs directly to our site.

We plan to conduct regular trips across Australia to offer parents the services of our commercial photographers.
